De 2010 à 2017 j'ai étudié l'émergence d'un genre littéraire où l'interaction entre lecteur et texte est comparée à l'interaction entre un organisme et son environnement. Cette recherche s'est terminée lorsque j'ai soutenu avec succès ma thèse de doctorat à l'Université de Genève, pour laquelle j'ai reçu la mention "très honorable". En 2013-2014, j'ai passé 12 mois à l'Australian National University à Canberra grâce à une bourse du Fonds National Suisse de la recherche scientifique. Là-bas, j'ai étudié l'histoire de l'environnement et de ses conceptions, et je commençai à poser les jalons d'une méthode d'analyse et d'interprétation de la métafiction environnementale.
En plus de ma thèse de doctorat, j'ai participé activement à de nombreux colloques nationaux et internationaux, et j'ai publié plusieurs articles ou chapitres sur des sujets liés à ma recherche.
Désormais, ma recherche est plus informelle et orientée vers le développement de l'écriture critique et créative.
