The journey has not yet begun. Or perhaps it has. In my imagination I am in the Kimberley already. I feel I'm there, without my body. It is a journey of the mind that will soon be a journey of the body, of my whole being.
I can picture the starry sky. I can feel the warm and dry air of the inland ochre of my dreams. I can't wait to breathe the atmosphere of the Northwest. Yet I have to. But that doesn't really matter in the end. What matters is my being-in-the-world, my consciousness and my lifeworld. This is what really is here. The rest can wait.
