As dark traces
Of light
On the water,
Muddy
And dirty.

But one contrast
In a sea of differences?
Juxtaposed
And laid out
For you to peer,
My body is embedded
In the bed of that pond
And in the mesh of those trees
The shadows of time
And space
And life.
Who am I
But this?
