Light cloth
Your muffled voice reflects paths of light
Uncaptured by my sight.
Some freckles of fear insinuates
Into my mind, a cloth of light closes the gates
Of the city, and at the same time
Constructs invisibility, in bricks of rhyme.
I direct my glance at you, but you're too near,
I can't escape your fatal grip, my dear,
And now we're one, my flesh, your metal,
A new entity formed, a way to unsettle
The morning news, with the death of a young man
Hit by a car and from the cloth of light forever banned.
