Reunion
After a month when the sky was rainless,
Finally do I perceive your misty body,
A cloud of bliss walking in a slow hurry
Towards me, numbing my brain painless.
After a month when sorrow was my day
And a lack of you spread under my flesh,
I realise that soon you'll complete my mesh
By adding to my net of feelings your clay.
After so many words, lines and mails,
Written pixels on remote screens of light,
I internalise your presence, I construct the sight
Of you, at the airport, responding to my hails.
Now, in this imaginary environment of mine,
You're here with me, our tears joined on our lips;
That illusory reunion is to be ripped
When at last your body will merge with mine.
